We are now on our fouth or fifth mechanic, who still has trouble every now and them with the same issue of the clutch, depending on the mechanics or apprentices they have working on the mower. Read more a Greenfield dealer work on the mower with no problems, they stopped their delivery service, so we tried the local mower shop, it was a total disaster, they put on a new "V" belt, but they also put the clutch on back to front so the mower wouldn't go up the smallest of inclines (not Greenfields fault), long story cut short, we went to the nearest Greenfield dealer (35 km's away) he fixed the problem and told us the clutch was fitted back to front! So we went their for the next service, they did the same thing as the last guy, the clutch was refitted the wrong way!

When a belt breaks or if we get it serviced, we always seem to have troble with the mechanics who work on the mower for us. My only issue with the older Greenfield Ride On Mowers is the drive train! Greenfield made a great ride on mower 20 years ago, it cut through grass 4 foot high, the front of the mower would lift up and cut through the grass at its own pace, but it always got the job done! The Honda 12 or 13 HP motor just keeps on going and has never let us down and has been well worth paying the extra money at the time!
